Are power outages common in Pakistan, and will they affect my stay?
Power outages still occur in parts of Pakistan, but most hotels in major cities have backup generators.
Urban accommodation
In cities such as Islamabad, Lahore, and Karachi, larger hotels and serviced apartments usually switch to generator power within minutes.
Smaller towns
In smaller towns and remote areas, outages may last longer and backup systems can be limited.
