Singapore
A Singapore tour package from Pakistan is built around Marina Bay, Sentosa Island, Gardens by the Bay and some of Asia's best halal street food. Why visit Singapore
Singapore packs a lot into a small, spotless city. You can spend a morning in the Singapore Botanic Gardens, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2015, ride the cable car to Sentosa in the afternoon and eat dinner at a hawker centre. Public transport is simple, English is widely spoken and halal food is easy to find, which makes it a comfortable first trip abroad for many Pakistani families.
Best time to visit Singapore
Singapore is warm and humid all year, so there is no bad season, only wetter and drier spells.
- February to April: often the driest stretch of the year, good for outdoor sightseeing and beach time on Sentosa.
- May to October: hot, with short afternoon showers. Pakistan's summer school holidays fall in this window, so book hotels early.
- November to January: the wettest months, with heavier downpours. Museums, aquariums and covered malls keep rainy days busy.
Singapore visa for Pakistani passport holders
Singapore's Immigration and Checkpoints Authority lists Pakistan among the countries whose citizens need a visa before travelling. Applications are made through a local contact in Singapore, an authorised visa agent appointed by a Singapore mission, or a Singapore overseas mission. Visa rules for Pakistani passport holders change often; we check the current requirements when you enquire.
Singapore tourist places and things to do
- Marina Bay: the Supertrees at Gardens by the Bay, the Merlion and the evening light shows on the waterfront.
- Sentosa Island: beaches, the cable car and Universal Studios Singapore.
- Heritage districts: Kampong Glam around the Sultan Mosque, Little India and Chinatown.
- Hawker centres: Singapore's hawker culture is on UNESCO's list of intangible heritage, and many stalls carry halal certification.
- Wildlife: Singapore Zoo and the Night Safari, both favourites with children.
Getting to Singapore from Pakistan
Flights from Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad usually connect through a Gulf hub or another Asian city. Singapore also combines well with its neighbours: Malaysia is linked to it by the Johor causeway, and a few days in Thailand fit easily into a two-week holiday.
