Itineraries

Day 1

ARRIVAL AT ISLAMABAD

The plane arrives in Islamabad International Airport where our representative welcomes you with a smile and arranges for a transfer to your hotel

Day 2

FLIGHT TO SKARDU AND VISIT TO KHAPLU

We start the day with a nourishing breakfast. Then we get ready for a scenic flight over the western Himalayas and Karakoram Mountains to land in Skardu, the capital of the Baltistan region located at an elevation of more than 2,000 m (6,500 ft.) and surrounded by the majestic Karakoram Mountains. The flight takes about an hour. From the airport we will drive to Khaplu, the administrative capital of the Guanche district, which lies 103 km east of Skardu. The views along the road are impressive. We explore Khaplu and visit the old Khaplu Palace located at the upper side of the village. We spend the night in Khaplu

Day 3

VISIT TO SKARDU, MANTHOKA WATERFALL, KACHURA VILLAGE AND LAKE

After breakfast we take our time for sightseeing and enjoy the sights of foliage. We then leave for Manthoka Waterfall and afterwards we return to Skardu. In the afternoon we visit the Upper Kachura village and the magnificent Kachura Lake surrounded by the Karakoram Mountains. We sleep in our hotel in Skardu.

Day 4

Date : June 15, 2021

: EXPLORING SHIGAR VALLEY AND COLD DESERT

As usual we have a solid breakfast. We get ready for a visit of the Cold Desert (Sarfaranga Desert). Later we continue to the gorgeous Shigar Valley where we visit Shigar Fort. On the way we make a stopover at the Indus river for plenty of photography. We end the day with free shopping time in Skardu Bazar. Our overnight stay in also Skardu.

Day 5

Date : June 16, 2021

BY 4x4 TO DEOSAI PLAINS, BARA/KALA PANI AND SHEOSAR LAKE

Our ample breakfast provides energy for the ride to the Deosai Plains by 4x4 Prado Land Cruisers. We take a break at Bara Pani and another short stop at Kala Pani. The last stop is at wonderful Sheosar Lake. For our overnight stay we drive to Astore.

Day 6

BY JEEP TO RAMA MEADOWS AND LAKE

After breakfast we pack our bags for our departure for Rama Meadows by Jeep. We have tea at Rama Pakistan Tourist Development Corporation motel. We make a grand sightseeing tour to Rama Lake and Rama Meadows and, of course, have plenty of time for photography. In the afternoon we leave for Gilgit where we spend the night

Day 7

: RETURN TO ISLAMABAD AND HILLTOP DINNER

We enjoy an early breakfast after which we board the flight to Islamabad. After a one-hour flight we arrive in Islamabad. Here we start by free time for shopping. We end the day with dinner at the Monal Hilltop Restaurant. Overnight stay is in the capital. Note: if flights are cancelled, we will go by road and the tour program will be changed accordingly.

Day 8

VISIT ISLAMABAD & DEPARTURE FOR AIRPORT

Our last breakfast together is being served. Afterwards we pack our bags for the city tour and we will visit the Lok virsa, Pakistan monument, Lake View Park, Pakistan Natural history museum, Saidpur village and after that we will drop you at Islamabad International Airport

Day 9

Date : June 20, 2021

Deosai Plains

Skardu is a door to world's second largest high altitude plains, The Deosai plains. The journey to Deosai is a unique and adventurous off road trip which you can cover only via an SUV through the sandy meadows. We will be camping under the starry skies in Deosai plains by Kala Pani that night, (Everyone must bring his sleeping bag)
