Itineraries
Day 1
ARRIVAL IN ISLAMABAD
Our representative will receive you with a warm welcome at Islamabad International terminal. Overnight stay at IslamabadDay 2
TRAVEL TO KHEWRA SALT MINE AND ISLAMABAD ARRIVAL
Our representative will receive you with a warm welcome in your Hotel and then our travel will start for the Katas Raj Temple (travelling time: 2.5 hours). “Katas” is a sacred pond for the Hindus, created from the teardrops of Lord Shiva. Around noon we drive to the Khewra Salt Mine (2nd largest salt mine in the world) for a very colourful underground visit. When we resurface, we’re heading for Islamabad where we arrive in the evening and transfer to our hotel for the night.Day 3
SIGHTSEEING IN TAXILA
We get up and join the table for breakfast. Then we leave for Taxila “City of Cut Stone” (travelling time: 1 hour) which was also visited by Alexander the Great. There we visit the museum and Buddhist heritage site including the famous ancient university. There will be our brief stop. Back to Islamabad where we spend the nightDay 4
DAY IN VILLAGE
We get up and join the table for breakfast. Then we leave for Village that is 40km away fromIslamabad, where we will experience the cultural food and meet with the local people. Thereafter back in Islamabad where we will visit the most famous landmark, Faisal Mosque, a gift by the king of Saudi Arabia to the people of Pakistan. Vedat Dalokay, a Turkish architect, designed the mosque in the shape of an Arab Bedouintent.Later we proceed to the “blooming flower” Pakistan monument and Pakistan museum nearby. The museum has been established as a tribute to those who struggled to establish Pakistan before the Partition of the Subcontinent. We spend the night in IslamabadDay 5
VISIT OF PESHAWAR
Ample breakfast is served and we depart for Peshawar H .Peshawar is the most lively city of Pakistan. The city lies at the edge of the istoric Khyber pass. The city is well known for its historic and cultural values. Peshawar has seen many invaders and travelers passing it by, from around the world Being an important border city the bazaars of Peshawar are the most attractive. There is always a lot of activity going on. The Kissa Khawani Bazaar (Bazaar of story Tellers) is the most interesting of all. There are merchandise from all over central Asia here. Oriental Rugs , Afghan Jewelry , tribal Handicrafts, Wood carving , spices and all kinds of fabrics are available in the city.Thereafter we will do lunch at namak mandi .This journey will take around 2-3 hours. Our night will be at IslamabadDay 6
VISIT ISLAMABAD, HILLTOP RESTAURANT AND AIRPORT DROP
After our last breakfast together we will be visiting Lok Virsa heritage park for shopping in its handicrafts market. In the afternoon we spare some time for shopping in super market and then go Margallah hills for dinner at the hill top restaurant, an excellent place to enjoy dinner with music and enjoy the night view. Thereafter we leave for Islamabad International Airport- Letter of Invitation for Visa.
