Mausoleum of Hazrat Bahauddin Zakariya
This shrine belonging to a Sufi master was built in the 13th century. It is decorated in azure blue tiles and complex Arabic inscriptions that drip exquisiteness. The architecture of this shrine is unique with a square base and octagonal layer on top and finally, the white dome that is said to capture positive energy within it. Fort Kohna Multan
This primeval fort was founded 2,600 years ago. It is built on a high mound on the bank of River Chanab to defend the city against invaders. The clocktower is located dead in the middle of the colourful bazaar where you’ll find many items for sale such as a huge variety of clothing, handbags, and more all for a very cheap price. You can find some special stalls that sell local crafts such as clay pottery and Ajrak.
Tomb of Shah Gardez
This is the beautiful tomb of another Sufi mystic who has been known for his immense work regarding the revival of Islam in the subcontinent. The main tomb’s architecture is a cube-shaped building sporting a flat roof. It is decorated entirely with turquoise blue and white tiles mixed with Aina-Kari mirror work. There are gorgeous floral patterns embellished into the tiles. The shrine is located roughly 600 metres west of the former fort of Multan.
