How to Apply Indian Visa in Pakistan

India Visa Process from Pakistan

if you are planning to cross the border from Pakistan to India and you are thinking of obtaining an Indian visa, there is one option you have which is a Sticker visa, an Evisa can be used only for a second entry into India via land border and first entry should be by airport.
Indian Visa is a bit technical and you must follow the steps below.

1: Fill  up a form at the website of the High Commission of India in Islamabad click on the following to get that form (VISA FORM)
2: Print that form, Attach mentioned size photographs
Photo Specifications

  • Format – JPEGindianvisa_jpg
  • Size – Minimum 10 KB, Maximum 1 MB
  • The minimum dimensions are 350 pixels (width) x 350 pixels (height).
  • A recent front-facing photograph with a white background is to be uploaded by the applicant.
  • Please do not crop the Passport Image to use it as your recent photograph. Upload a clear front-facing photograph with a preferable white/light-coloured background.
  • The application is liable to be rejected if the uploaded photograph is unclear and as per specification.

3: Attach your Bank Statement to make your application Strong (minimum 3 Months)
4: Attach Invitation letter or Hotel Bookings
5: Attach Polio Vaccination Card ( Polio Vaccine you can get from PIMS Hospital located in Islamabad)
6: Prepare an Application addressing to the High Commission of India in Islamabad and describe why you want to visit India

After all this process make 2 sets of applications and visit one of the authorized agencies who will be processing your Indian visa TCS Visatronics / Gerry’s Visa and submit your original passport and applications to them. The visa will be processed in 1-4 Weeks.

  • Tourists traveling on motorbikes or Vehicles may also need to submit supporting documents for traveling on these means.
  • Foreign Nationals should be prepared to be called for an interview to understand the purpose of travel to India.
  • This process is solely for foreign nationals visiting Pakistan and planning to visit India, if you are a Pakistani National or Overseas Pakistani you need to go through a more strict visa process which can take up to 5-6 months, and still visa might be rejected.

NOTE: Prohibition on the Utilization of Thuraya, Iridium, and Other Satellite Phones in India.

The use of satellite telephone services is prohibited in India, meaning that devices from operators such as Thuraya and Irridium are not permitted within the country. If individuals entering India are found with these devices, they will be confiscated, and the possessor may face legal action under Section 6 of the Indian Wireless Act and Section 20 of the Indian Telegraph Act.
