A Bangladesh tour package from Pakistan takes you from the old lanes of Dhaka to the tea gardens of Sylhet, the Sundarbans mangroves and the long sea beach at Cox's Bazar. Why visit Bangladesh

Bangladesh is a country of wide rivers, green paddy fields and crowded, energetic cities, and it sees far fewer foreign tourists than its neighbours. It holds the larger share of the Sundarbans, the world's largest mangrove forest and a home of the Royal Bengal tiger. It also has Cox's Bazar, a natural sea beach that runs for about 120 kilometres. For Pakistani travellers, the shared history and Mughal-era architecture add another layer of interest.

Best time to visit Bangladesh

  • November to February: the dry, cool season and the best time for Dhaka, Cox's Bazar and boat trips into the Sundarbans.
  • March to May: hot and humid, with pre-monsoon storms later in the season.
  • June to October: the monsoon. The countryside is at its greenest and the Sylhet wetlands fill up, but heavy rain and flooding can disrupt travel.

Bangladesh visa for Pakistani passport holders

Pakistani passport holders need a visa arranged before travel. The Bangladesh High Commission in Islamabad and the Deputy High Commission in Karachi handle applications, and Bangladesh has recently eased the process for Pakistani nationals. Visa rules for Pakistani passport holders change often; we check the current requirements when you enquire.

Things to do in Bangladesh

  • Old Dhaka: Lalbagh Fort, the pink Ahsan Manzil palace and a boat ride on the Buriganga river.
  • Sundarbans: multi-day boat trips through the mangrove channels, watching for deer, crocodiles and, with luck, a tiger.
  • Cox's Bazar: sunsets on the beach and a drive along the Marine Drive coast road.
  • Sylhet and Sreemangal: tea estates, the Ratargul swamp forest and the shrine of Hazrat Shah Jalal.
  • Bagerhat: the fifteenth-century Sixty Dome Mosque, part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

How to get to Bangladesh from Pakistan

Biman Bangladesh Airlines restarted direct flights between Dhaka and Karachi in January 2026, the first on the route in about 14 years. From Lahore and Islamabad, most travellers connect through Karachi or a Gulf hub. Schedules can change, so we confirm the current options when we plan your trip.
