Abruzzi Glacier
The Abruzzi Glacier is located to the North of the Baltoro Kangri peak, where it is connected to the Baltoro glacier. It lies from the North-West to the absolute West.
From the glacier, one can see the breathtaking views of K-2. It was named after Italian mountaineer and arctic explorer Prince Luigi Amedeo, Duke of the Abruzzi, who led an expedition to the Karakoram mountain range in 1909.

Batura Glacier
With a length of 57 kilometres, Batura glacier is one of the largest and longest glaciers outside of the polar region (35 miles). It is located in Upper Hunza (Gojal), Gilgit-Baltistan. It is just to the North of the Batura (7,795 metres/25,574 feet) and Passu (7,500 metres/24,600 feet). The glacier lies from West to East. The lower reaches are described as a grey sea of rocks and gravelly moraine, surrounded by a few villages and pastures teeming with sheep, goats, cows, and yaks. The paths are bordered by roses and juniper trees.

Biafo Glacier
Biafo is a 67 kilometres (42 miles) long glacier in GilgitBaltistan. It meets with Hispar glacier (49 kilometres/30 miles) at an altitude of 5,128 metres (16,824 feet) to form the third longest glacial system outside the polar regions after Fedchenko Glacier, Tajikistan and Siachen Glacier of Pakistan/India respectively.
Nagar is in the West and Baltistan in the East. The traverse of Biafo glacier and Hispar glacier forms a 100 kilometres (62 miles) long glacial route.

Godwin-Austen Glacier

The glacier is accessible via Skardu, Gilgit-Baltistan. Mountain peak K-2 is named after Henry Haversham Godwin-Austen, who was an early explorer of the area.
