Best Time to Visit KPK
Swat Valley & Kalam May to September for green valleys and full rivers. December to February for snow, skiing at Malam Jabba and a completely different kind of beauty.
Naran Kaghan Valley June to October when the Babusar Top road is open and Saif ul Malook Lake is at its best. The road closes in winter, don’t leave this one late.
Chitral & Kalash Valley May to September. The Kalash festivals fall within this window plan around them if you can.
Shandur Polo Festival July only. One of the most unique events in Pakistan. Book at least 2 months ahead and it fills up fast.
Abbottabad & Galiyat Year-round, but spring and autumn are the most comfortable.
Malam Jabba skiing December to February. Book early winter weekends sell out.
